Schools and Communities Collaborating

Free DVD Educates Girls in Self Defense
After seeing the news footage of a Florida girl's abduction caught on surveillance camera, a 15-year-old from Portland, Oregon, came up with an idea to teach teen girls how to fight off attackers. Nancy Drew - Activity Guide Now Available!
The free, downloadable youth development activity guide, Nancy Drew: In Search of Clues, includes interactive activities and group discussion questions for youth ages 8 - 12. Summer of Service
A new campaign has been launched to engage more youth in summer service activities. A comprehensive web site has been developed that includes a toolkit with project ideas and how to engage young people in service. The culmination of the summer will lead to the High Five Service Project Kudos, bringing the winners to DC for celebration and recognition. Free Materials on Internet Safety for Children
Protect Every Child has developed a DVD to educate parents and young people about the dangers that exist in online Chat Rooms. A leader's guide, brochures and information about Internet safety can be used for delivering presentations. Click here to learn more.
