NYDIC Document Database

Add a Publication | Update Your Publication Listing

This ever-growing database currently contains over 1100 abstracts of youth development reports, journal articles, and other documents. It also provides information on who to contact to acquire each document.

To help you search, we give every item in our collection several "descriptors"--words that describe the subject of the document, like "mentoring" or "diversity." Searching by these terms may help you quickly find many documents on the same subject. Check out our descriptor list. Remember, though, that you may use ANY words to search the database--if the words show up in the document's title, author, abstract, or descriptors, you'll get a list of titles returned to you.

Advanced Search

Welcome to the Advanced Search Screen. Here you can narrow your search by choosing the publication year or range of years (ex. 1995:1999), journal name or partial journal name, title, author or keywords. You may also rank your display in either ascending or descending order by field. If you do not choose to rank, the default ranking is in descending order by Publication year. If you do not wish to perform the Advanced Search at this time you can click the Search button and it will return you to the Simple Search Screen.
