Electronic Mailing Lists and Newsletters for Youth Development Professionals

Catch up on the latest! Below is an annotated list of e-mail newsletters and mailing lists that you may want to subscribe to. (For those new to them, a "listserv" or "electronic mailing list" is usually a discussion-based list that allows you to e-mail a central address and have your comments shared with every other subscriber to the list. An "e-mail (or electronic) newsletter" is like a magazine or newspaper that just happens to come by e-mail; subscribers all receive the same information from a central source, but don't exchange comments).

And speaking of e-mail newsletters, you might also want to get the NYDIC electronic newsletter, INFO@NYDIC.ORG (Click here to look at all the issues so far). To subscribe, just send us an e-mail at info@nydic.org (mentioning your desire to subscribe in the body of the message), or give us a call (toll-free) at 1-877-NYDIC-4-U. And while you're at it, let us know if there are any other lists or newsletters youth development professionals should know about.
