New!! KIDS COUNT 2008 Data Book & Center

Updated national and state-level data on America's children, youth, and families is now available in the Annie E. Casey Foundation's 2008 KIDS COUNT Data Book. In addition to the traditional report, the foundation has an easy-to-use, powerful online database -- the KIDS COUNT Data Center. Users can generate custom graphs, maps, ranked lists, and state-by-state profiles; they can also download the entire data set as delimited text files.

Be sure to read this year's KIDS COUNT essay as it provides a road map for juvenile justice reform based on research and practice.

Welcome to the Family Strengthening Policy Center!

The Center aims to make family strengthening a priority by mainstreaming neighborhood-based, family-centered practices, programs and policy.  By leveraging the National Human Services Assembly's network of 80 health and human service member organizations, the Center's objective is to promote family policy that contributes to family economic and social empowerment.  Learn more about the Center here.
